Operator information for this site.

Site operator

This is a demonstration build. Before deploying it publicly, replace the placeholders below with the details your jurisdiction requires — in the EU this typically means a legal name, a postal address, an email address and, for companies, a register number and VAT identification number.

  • Legal name: [your name or company]
  • Address: [street, postcode, city, country]
  • Email: [contact address]
  • Register / VAT number: [if applicable]
  • Responsible for content: [name]

What this site is

Upgfrog is a free QR code generator. Codes are produced entirely in your browser, are static, never expire, and are not tracked. There is no account system, nothing is stored on our side, and there is no paid tier.

Alongside the tool we publish guides about QR codes. Everything we claim about whether a design scans comes from decoding codes we generated ourselves; the method is documented on our editorial page.

Editorial responsibility

Articles are written and maintained by the team that builds the generator, and are attributed to that team rather than to an individual. We do not publish guest posts, sponsored articles or affiliate content, and we do not accept payment for coverage.

Reporting a problem

For corrections, copyright matters or legal notices, see our DMCA and copyright policy, or write to us via the contact page. Notices about content on this site are handled by the operator named above.

Trademarks

QR Code is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED. All other trademarks named on this site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.

Hosting and data

The site is a server-rendered application with no database and no user accounts. Nothing you enter into the generator is transmitted to us, so there is no store of user content to secure, export or breach. The only persistent data is ordinary web server logging.

Accessibility

We aim to keep the site usable without a mouse and without JavaScript where that is possible. Expandable sections use native browser elements so their content is present whether or not scripts run, form fields are labelled, and colour contrast across the interface is checked against WCAG AA. If you hit a barrier, tell us — that is a bug we want to fix.

Liability for links

This site links to external resources. We have no control over their content and accept no responsibility for it. If you find a link that points somewhere it should not, please tell us and we will remove it.
